Celebrity Weddings - Gul Panag weds childhood sweetheart Rishi Attari

Recently Bollywood Actress Gul Panag got married to her long-time beau Rishi Attari in a gurdwara near Chandigarh. The couple had a 'Sholay'-style wedding.

Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupathi’s Church Wedding

Tennis star Mahesh Bhupati and Bollywood actress Lara Dutta tied the knot in a formal church ceremony today. The grand Victorian-styled ceremony, at the Taj Aguada was adorned with candles, lace, crystal lamps and pretty bows. A grand reception for over 200 invitees at a five-star hotel in Sinquerim beach near Panaji followed the wedding.

Lara looked beautiful in Elie Saab Erato gown long with white and gold uncut diamonds and the groom. Mahesh looked dapper in a designer tux.

For the Sangeet, Lara wore an uncut diamond necklace set studded with vilandis, rose-cut diamonds, round diamonds, emeralds, rubies and pearls with maang-tika. All set off beautifully with her marigold-color lengha

Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupathi’s Sangeet Ceremony - Part 1

Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupathi’s sangeet ceremony took place today in Goa at a Candolim beach club.

Sunil Chawla, owner and partner of Club Fresh said "The theme for entire sangeet is white, which matches with the theme of the club. There will be white roses, white jasmines..,"

Lara was decked out in a lehanga that has been designed by Manav Gangwani, Mahesh in a chikankari churidar kurta with the stole matching Lara’s ensemble. More pic's to come...

Food served included - Seafood, sushi, Goan and Pan Asian cuisines.

Music / Entertainment - fusion of bhangra, Hindi oldies, bollywood pop and English remixes being played by dj whosane. Live performances by acrobatic group Lucien Dossier from California.

Celebrity Weddings - Mr & Mrs Bhupathi

Lets bear in mind that is was just the civil ceremony, so i actually think she looks..well good...she isn't trying too hard, and lets not forget she is wearing one of indias top designers ritu kumar and pearls....

Effortless chic?? In years to come at least it wont be a case of ...cue Lara aged 65 - "gosh what was i thinking" :)

Mahesh Bhupathi took the twitter route and earlier today tweeted “Mr. and Mrs Bhupathi folks” and put up a twitpic of the happy couple. Lara is wearing a white saree from Ritu Kumar’s Falaknuma collection :)

Celebrity Weddings - Imran Khan and Avantika Malik - Reception

Mamoo (uncle) Aamir hosted a grand reception for his nephew Imran Khan and new wife Avantika Malik. The who's who of Bollywood was in attendance to wish the happy couple, the event was held at the Taj Lands end in Mumbai.

I bore of the so called cat fights and drama that surrounds bollywood, but i was happy to see so many stars come together.
