Hot Pink, Black & White Bridal Shower Ideas - With Vintage Silhouette Of Barbie As Inspiration

This inpiration board was originally created by Becca at Birthday Girl Blog, for a little girls fun and modern Barbie themed party, shades of pink and zebra where used. This is a great look because it works for girly girls of almost any age...hence perfect for your bridal shower.

Theme: Modern Barbie

Party Ideas
Colors: hot pink, black & white
Setting: luncheon with the girls
Decorations: flashy & girly, cover everything in various shades of pink and use zebra as the accent pattern.
Food: consider tea sandwiches and other lighter healthy bites for lunch and then go all out on the pink desserts... have a buffet with different shades of pink candy, cupcakes, macaroons, or host a sundae bar with strawberry ice cream, chocolate fudge and marshmallow fluff. for drinks, serve the girls pink lemonade in martini glasses.

Activities: have the girls put on a barbie style fashion show with boas, sunglasses, plastic beads etc.

Favors: offer goodie bags of the leftover treats to take home.

The vintage silhouette of barbie works as inspiration, with black and pink as the colour scheme, try incorporating your theme in everything from the invites to the decor... even the bride to be t-shirt.

Theses two don't really go with the title since I've already bought them :) well within budget! just need some spring/summer sun. Don't think i wear them together as the bow detail on the sandals is to cute for hiding ..and the maxi is oh so luxe..
