Vintage Pink & Gold ~ Styled Shoot by Brancoprata

My absolutely favorite thing is discovering blogs, where you sit and devour everything, the look, the layout, the design, the content, the lot!

So its no wonder I and pretty much all wedding obsessives around the world love Brancoprata, based in Portugal, and run by duo Sofia & André, who just happen to make a wedding team like no other, they do it all, photography, floral, design, decor, paper goods...

now on to the awesome that is this shoot!!

Here's some words about the inspiration behind it from Sofia ~

"As far as the inspiration for that shoot... i wanted something clean but with a vintage sparkle! It all started with the invitation, with a pop up banner, made of a vintage golden paper! The idea was to create a small outdoor gathering with friends and family, a unconventional bride that wore a short golden dress and a easy going groom! The outdoor ceremony had a big mobile as a backdrop, programs with small envelopes with confetti to shower the couple after the ceremony! Favors were used as escort cards, simple centerpieces with carnations and freesias and a 3 layer cake of red velvet was the wedding cake!!"
The main idea of the shoot... how can a couple enjoy 100% their wedding day, stress free!!!

surpreendente right?? that's amazing in Portuguese don't ya know :) & how lush does the red velvet cake look...

{Inspiration} Tarun Khiwal - When the Wedding gets tough.... take a break!

What do you do when you hit a dead end?? When you've seen just one too many wedding dresses, venues, shoes, cakes..the lot, to the point they all start to merge in to one.

Time to step off the wedding train of course and take a break. Pamper yourself, go out with friends {ban all wedding talk} I like to look through work of people I really admire! {gets the creative juices going!}
