Village Meeting

Recently I was attempting to find a friend on the campus of the kids' school ... and literally stumbled upon the 1st graders' Village Meeting. It's how they conclude every day of school and it is DARLING.  They all sit in a huge circle with the teachers and assistants and talk about their day.  They talk about the next day, and any upcoming important events or activities to look forward to.

When they were almost finished on this particular day, one of the teachers asked the group of little munchkins to sing "The Banyan Tree" - a song written by one of the teachers several years ago.

I only got some of the song recorded, but wanted to share it with you.
