Red Carpet Event: Zee Cine awards 2011

To say the red carpet at Zee Cine awards was disappointing, would be an understatement. There werent many celebs on the red carpet and there wasnt any dress to set ur pulse raising!!

Who: Deepika Padukone

Looks like Deepika has an affinity for drape-y, twist front clingy dresses. She wore something similar for the Kingfisher Calendar launch. She looks nice in the second pic but in the first one the dress material looks cheap and tacky. Walmart version of a couture dress!?!!

Who: Sonakshi Sinha

That is a gorgeous saree and it looks like the top/blouse is a halter with high neck. Hair is much better than last time but I still think Sonakshi dresses too mature - 23 going on 50. She needs to wear more colorful, youthful clothes!!

What do you guys think? Is this a downgrade or an upgrade from her last red carpet look at Apsara awards?

Who: Neha Dhupia, Prachi Desai

Neha looks elegant in a multi-tiered gown with lace and sequins. One of the better looks of the evening.
Looks like the dress swallowed Prachi up! Love the color but the dress isn’t well-proportioned. The top is waay too big and the bottom is too brief to balance it.

Who: Hrithik Roshan, Sophie Choudry

Suzanne is chic and polished in a simple yet elegant gown that fits her beautifully.

Sophie is OTT as expected. Can someone explain this woman’s career, existence, coverage, etc.? Why is she everywhere??

I am mad about blazers in all shapes and sizes. Its one of the few pieces of clothing that can instantly add polish to any ensemble. It also does a good job of camouflaging any muffin top - the tire around ur waist:-) The completely fat-free Suzanne looks sophisticated in a black blazer worn with sharp pair of trousers. The sequined top adds glamor - nice call, chica. Not feeling any love for the clutch....Hrithik looks smart in an all black outfit. They do make a handsome couple..

One of the few pictures where Aish and AB junior look cute and natural together. Between the two, AB looks sharp in a black blazer, vest and jeans. Nothing wrong in Aish's outfit - just too casual for the occasion.

55th Filmfare Awards - the wives club

Left: Gauri Khan, Right : Hrithik and Suzanne Roshan

Gauri has not only been a Vogue cover girl but was also the showstopper on the ramp for Karan Johar's fashion line. There is an immense interest in her since she is married to the King Khan. She pretty much wears high-end designer stuff but one thing is consistent about her - her makeup. She always, always looks oily- not sure if she likes that kind of shiny look or no-one has the guts to point it out to her..... Anyways, I like the color of her dress but not the style. The bottom half looks like a sari :-P An empire waist would have looked better with this beautiful draping.

Suzzane is wearing one of the better looks seen at the awards. I love everything about the gown - the cut, the fabulous color, the halter neck.. For a change, her hair looks good too.
