Who: Deepika Padukone

That is one gorgeous necklace!! I wish I could say the same about Deepika's dress. The skirt is soo big and puffy that I bet it can be used as a parachute in case of emergency!! I do like the concept of bows but it is not well executed.

Who: Kareena Kapoor

Looks like Kareena got dressed in a hurry - she just grabbed her bedsheets and added some drapes and a skinny belt!! The color of her dress is nice..

Who: Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar

Honey, you are supposed to keep your guy on a leash not yourself!!

Who: Kangana Ranaut

You have to see a lot of ugly dresses before you get a beautiful one!! Love the dress and I am really mad at Kangana for spoiling it with those shoes!!

Who: Aishwarya Rai

Aishwarya wore a blue Elli Saab Spring 2010 dress to the event. Will have to wait for full length pics to see how she killed another couture dress:-)

Who: Sonali Bendre

Sonali looks chic in a beautifully embroidered (kahmiri) salvaar suit. She wisely lets her dress take center-stage and kept her accessories to the minimum.

Sridevi, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonakshi Sinha

I like the color of Sridevi's dress and her wrap. The cut of the dress doesn't really flatter her and its little too wrinkly at the waist. Sridevi's knees aren't her best feature and she should wear outfits that hit her below/at the knees. The clutch is cute but her shoes are soo wrong!!

I think calling Jacqueline's dress OTT will be an understatement!!

Sonakshi looks cute in her sunny gown paired with red lips and spiral curls. Dont quite like the sash on the dress - always remind me of beauty pageants contestants!!

I love the high-collar blouse and the gold polka dots look great but then the sari becomes too busy. Not a big fan of braids done with such a formal outfit...

Dia is cute as a button in the pink lehenga at Vivek Obersoi's wedding. Love her outfit and hair although I would have preferred a burnished gold Bottega Veneta ..

Sonam Kapoor at the Espirit store

Who: Sonam Kapoor

Sonam did the dress + blazer combination for the Espirit store fashion event. She accessorized with pearl strands, flower brooch, Chanel bag and lovely blue pumps (Steve Madden??). I think she went a little overboard with the accessories and could have easily skipped her pearls. Her hairstyle looks a wee bit weird..

Best Dressed of the Month (Freida Edition) - Oct' 10

First things first, BDOM for Sep'10 was Freida Pinto and she is now on our Hall of Fame.

Freida had a busy month promoting her new movie at the various film festivals. She wowed us on the red carpet with one winning look after the other. She had three great looks this month and it doesnt seem fair to have just her in the BDOM poll for Oct. So let's do two polls - one Freida edition and the other - the regular one.

These are the best pics I have and yes, that's Sonam Kapoor!! Pin-straight hair and smoky eyes give her a very chic and polished look. Neck up, she is fabulous..
She wore Prabal Gurung to the anniversary bash. The pics are too unclear to make a call on the dress. Iffy on the belt - maybe a skinny belt would have been better??

Every week is some fashion week or the other!! This week is Indian bridal week and Dia walked the ramp for Rocky S. She looks beautiful in an exquisitely embroidered lehenga. Not sure if the color is bride appropriate but I am ready to fight tradition for this one:-)
