Dinpanah - The Tour

We recently went to Dinpanah (otherwise known as Purana Qila or the Old Fort area) for our Seven Cities tour and what fun it was.  We got to wear bindis, participate in a scavenger hunt of sorts and eat at one of my favorite restaurants (Baci in Sundar Nagar)

My photos, unfortunately, are a bit sparse, as I was too busy fanning myself furiously.

It was MUCH cooler the last time I visited Old Fort with my little sidekick ... remember this photo?

(Temperatures are ranging between 38 and 42 these days, which translates to 100.4 - 107.6 and we're only halfway into April! No jean jackets on us in any photos anytime soon!)

As you well know by now, I can't offer you ANY of the history behind these places, as I'm more apt to soak in the local scenes and goings-on.

These little cuties followed us for quite awhile on our scavenger hunt (which was a fun addition to the normal tour process) ...
