Royal Wedding: Kate Middleton Hen Party... Is this the end to the "typical" hen do!

Kate Middleton & Sister Pippa
Any hopes of you had, of seeing Kate Middleton out on the tiles with her girlfriends celebrating her hen night, where truly quashed, with reports that the royal bride celebrated her last days as a single woman with a private party attended by a small group of close friends.

Her younger sister Pippa, who will be maid of honour at the royal wedding, is believed to have organised the quiet night in with friends' to mark her hen party.  With the size of the wedding you may have expected little more glitz from the stag and hen parties. Even Prince William opted for low key stag do.

This article in the telegraph had some interesting thoughts, has she indeed killed the hen night?? shouldn't we be thankful? Lairy ladies, with pink feather boas, not the classiest of sights is it? Will there be a turn now in how hen nights are celebrated.

I can imagine asking friends for x amount of money for the weekend/week away, especially if they can't afford it, a little difficult.

What's not to love? ..pink buffet table is filled with lovely teatime treats....perfect for a lady-like bridal shower.
So what to do? We'll think more along the lines of a bridal shower, than hen party/ bachelorette party. Maybe dinner, a luncheon or tea party, held either at a restaurant or at home.

Sometimes its the small get together or the thoughtfully done ones that are the best most memorable. Like a at home spa day, movie night, sleep over. The ones you get to spend quality time together.

Look out for idea's and decor for a classic barbie bridal shower tomorrow.
