As if the color was not bridal enough, Anushka piled on bridal jewelery too! Yes, she looks cute but looks like she directly came here from her marriage mandap! All she is missing is sindoor:-)

Deepika is a glamor goddess in this divine orange outfit! She looks statuesque and everything about her look is spot on : her hair, golden cuff, minimal accessories - all perfection. The outfit is awfully similar to the one Kareena wore at the Stardust party but I like this one better.

Yes, its a simple outfit and the bad lighting makes Anushka look like she's either an alcoholic with liver damage or used to much bronzer on her skin, but she looks amazing! And those toned legs - va-va-voom!!
She changed her hair color to match her dress and that's not a good thing.

Anushka layers neutral pieces to perfection proving neutrals are anything but blah. The outfit is not only tonally harmonious, it's also texturally interesting. However, the proportions of the outfit/pant seem to be a little off - I think it would have looked better if it was a full length pant.

Magazine Covers - April 2011

My issue with both the covers is the model faces. Anushka is barely recognizable - I understand using photoshop to make models look flawless or thin but to make Anushka not look like herself is self-defeating - isnt her face the selling point?
I love the color composition of Elle - very impactful and spring-y but Lisa's makeup is so horrid! Why?

Blue Reign

Where: At the semi-final screening at Shahrukh's Mannat

Both, Karisma and Raveena, wore blue to support the Indian Cricket team at the Cricket World cup semi-finals. Karisma went the comfy route with velour jumpsuit and a drool-worthy blue Birkin. Raveena was polished in a silk shirt with jeans. I think they both look lovely. If India had lost, I am sure I would have said something else;-)

Amrita's dress is cute but I think its a wee bit long. Rani's dress is trendy but she has styled it pretty badly. Silver jewelry would have worked better than pearls and the hairstyle is just very un-sophisticated!

.. black beaded, multi-tiered dress. Shazahn repeats her LBD but changes her accessories to give the dress a fresh look. I love the leopard clutch but cant decide on the shoes. Which one did you like better with her dress?

Love the nude-pink color but not sure about the dress. This needs a better fitting at the waist, no? I dont see any curves..I am also not a big fan of pockets on evening gowns (Jeans? yes pockets. Gowns with pockets? Never good) and I think this outfit would have looked better if it was knee length.

The first outfit could have worked if the top and bottom were of the same shade - did Aishwarya dress in the dark?!
She fares much better in the second outfit - its soft, chic and so luxe looking!

Girlfriend kills in both outfits! The first is a typical Malaika - short and tight with a "painted on" effect. The second may have room to breathe but makes it up with sensuous draping. Isn't the color gorgeous? With Malaika, if an outfit doesn't scream "sex", its not worth wearing:-)

Anushka on Koffee with Karan

Anushka wore a cute printed dress to the show. The dress is given some sex appeal with a deep V neckline, while a fitted waist further accents her figure. She paired the dress with blush-colored t-straps which highlight the pink in her dress. Anushka appeared on the show alongside her co-star from her last hit movie, "Band Baaja Baaraat". Very predictable look (loose, casual hair and short dress is her trademark) , but I like.

Deepika and Preity went for a laid-back, causal look in jeans, tee and shoes. Both look great and I love their hairstyles.

Rani, Madhoo and Amrita upgraded their basic jeans with some glitter and sequins. Not bad, but a clutch to a concert??

Anushka went for a tights + blazer combo and Minissha opted for a tulip skirt paired with a tee.
I like when people mix black and brown but the shoes look a little off with the outfit.
The colors of Minissha's outfit are pretty but am not a big fan of skirts at rock concerts.

The Filmfare cover is soft and simple but there is waay too much text on the cover. Looks like they out the entire content of the magazine on the cover!!

Grazia - The clothes, the side plait and the pose, especially the pose is soooo Sonam Kapoor! why? Is there no one else left to copy? And they have managed to make a beautiful girl look so unattractive! First for any magazine:-)

Like the Femina cover. the color composition of the Stardust Icon cover is nice but Rani isnt looking her best.

We already did the Vogue cover in a earlier post. Aishwarya is wearing Roksanda Ilincic and is looking fierce.

The Elle cover is the best. I never seen a denim jacket look this sexy. I also like the fact the models are not over-styled and over-accessorized . Not sure who the models are but they rock the cover.

Not sure whats more attractive on the Traveller cover - the New York skyline or Padma Lakshmi. Honestly, the cover makes me want to buy the issue to check out all the NY bar-hopping places. Which is exactly the point!!

Sexy leopard print combined with a bodycon silhouette - enough to make anyone stop and stammer! Lara is dressed to kill at the release of new Audi car model. I doubt any red-blooded male at the event noticed the new Audi:-)
Love her nude makeup - anything else would have been OTT.

One of the biggest trend of S/S11 is ultra-bright colors. And Dia shows you how to wear it right. She is simply exquisite in a punchy and vibrant orange dress. Since the dress is so bright, she kept her shoes neutral and makeup, accessories minimal.

Madhoo - The outfit is cute but she completely spoils it with an ugly pink belt and equally ugly clutch/shoes.
Raageshwari - Somewhere, a Chinese restaurant is missing its curtains.

Ok, this look is from yesterday but I was too lazy to post it. This laid-back look would have worked if Anushka had skipped the belt - the color is too jarring. This and Madhoo's oufit are perfect examples how a wrong accessory can break your look.

Anushka looks fashionably feminine in a sheath dress with fluttery tiers of net/silk chiffon. This style of dress and hairstyle is becoming Anushka's signature look. She paired the dress with gladiator style flats for which I am not feeling any love.

Neck up, Minissha looks fab. Love her red painted toes and shoes. The color of the dress is also great but its very badly constructed. The pleats going across and down the side have the look of a last minute job..

Red Carpet Event:Stardust awards 2011

Who: Anushka Sharma, Sonakshi Sinha

Anushka is elegant and lethal in a beautifully draped dress. I havent seen Anushka in a gown and she looks incredibly alluring in this color. Thankfully, she didnt add any necklace and kept it simple with silver earrings.
Sonakshi does love this style since she already owns this dress in mustard yellow. The pulled back hair, silver pumps - all give it a very sophisticated, chic look. Two thumbs up to the lovely color.

Who: Amrita Puri, Mehr and Arjun Rampal, Twinkle Khanna

Amrita wore a dusty pink, bodycon dress. I think the dress is rather cute with the over-sized flower but not happy with her shoe choice.
Its impossible to get a clear picture of what Mehr is wearing since she is clinging to her husband in very shot. Seeing how delicious Arjun looks, I can hardly blame her!
Twinkle wore an asymmetrical silver dress, teamed with silver shoes and earrings. I wish she had gone one size up becoz right now she looks tightly wrapped in a silver foil!

Who: Suzanne Roshan, Prachi Desai, Shraddha Kapoor

Like the streamlined look of Suzanne's dress and its a pity we cant clearly see the McQueen skull clutch.
Prachi - OMG, who did this to you??It should be a crime for anyone to step out in such a horrific outfit.
Shraddha - The skirt is very interesting and would have worked with a simple tank top. The clutch is too shiny for me.

Who: Neha Dhupia, Sophie Choudry

Neha wore a yellow/black Shane and Falguni outfit. Its a very striking dress and I think she does justice to this dress with her sleek, shiny hair and smokey eyes.
I love everything about Sophie's dress but wish someone more interesting had worn it.

Who: Rani Mukerjee, Sonali Bendre, Kajol

Black/gold is a very safe and boring combination on the red carpet. But the addition of the red blouse/top, upgrades this look. Smart choice, Rani.
I like how Sonali added a skinny belt to her red saree resulting in a silhouette different from a normal saree. I just wished she had worn a less glitzy top.
Kajol is one of my favorite actress but her dress choices really confound me!
