Neetu looks elegant and graceful in a beige anarkali. Old is gold:-) Love how she co-ordinated her earrings with the trim on her dupatta/scarf..

Where: Lecoanet Hemant BMW show

Soniya went for a "boho-earthy" look in Lecoanent Hemant dress that she wore to his BMW fashion show. The dress has bells (ghungroos ) at the neck and hemline - a nice touch and the different textured fabrics add character and depth to the dress.
Two thumbs up to the dress and her shoes but I think matching the bag to her shoes was a bad idea...Too much matchy brown in the look..

All in a day's work

Soniya made not one but two flawless appearances today. For a birthday party, she wore a dainty layered skirt with a cute bow, one-shoulder top and awesome shoes..This is a "Goth" look as per Soniya's twitter. hmm, really?? Anyhow, for Aisha screening she did a grey on grey ensemble with ruffled skirt, another one-shoulder top, bib necklace..I dont like a couple of things here - her feet look as if they are bandaged:( and the handbag strikes a discordant note but I love her outfit!!

Can I have her stylist's number? Its one thing to find the perfect dress but to accessorize it with the perfect shoes/jewelery is an art. Not only do I totally dig her shoes but I am also lusting after what looks like panther (Cartier??) bracelet on her hand..Shilpa, your stylist deserves a big, fat bonus:-)

What a stroke of genius - combining the hottest fall trends - the military jacket and tulip skirt!! She looks totally fab..Is it too early to make a list for Santa:-)

Adding silver can totally glam up any outfit. You need to be careful though so that you don't look like wrapped in an aluminum foil. Soniya wore a silver sequins Topshop pants which she balanced with a plain white top. The chunky necklace adds to the charm although the color is a little discordant with the outfit..

I am completely spell bound!! I haven't seen Sridevi look this good ever. She is like wine - getting better with age. I like her kohl lined eyes and the sari color is just perfect for summer. The itsy bitsy straps of the blouse highlight her delicate collar bones...

Sonia looks like a doll in the first pic..Cute dress and bag!! I like the contrast in texture/tailoring between the top and bottom - the top has very architectural, pleated look and the bottom has a girly/princess feel with sequins. Her flower hairpin in her artfully tousled hair gives her a very youthful, 70s touch. As per her tweet, she is wearing Nishka Lulla and was trying for a Blair Waldorf(of Gossip girl) look. What do you think??

Yikes, whats wrong with Juhi? As if the kurta/top didn't have enough shine, she added that grandmotherly necklace/bangle. I think its too much bling for a store opening..Dont like her handbang either.

Clean bowled at the IPL dinner

Looks like everyone in bollywood owns a Herve Leger bandage dress!! Makes sense since bandage dresses are inherently va-va-voom as there isn't a curve on the body that a form fitting Herve Leger doesn't reveal and it is a showstopper in any color. A win-win situation!! Shilpa looks awesome in an electric blue one..I wish I could say the same for her purse (looks like a Judith Leber) or shoes. A simpler shoe would have looked better..What do you guys think??

A stunning bodycon corset-style dress with draped overlay skirt. The dress by itself is totally lust worthy and on top of it we had the fabulous Malika wearing it - a total femme-fatale look. The dress is by Alexander Wang (pre-Fall 2009 colleciton) and she wore it with nude Christian Louboutins. Unfortunately, I could not find any close-up shot of her..

The bib necklace was a key piece of jewelery that had a major presence in Spring 2009 show. I do like this trend and saw some really good bib necklaces at Express, Ann taylor, Banana republic etc last winter but never bought one. Where would I wear one too?? Its too gaudy for day wear and I really don't have any IPL dinner, movie premiers to go to;-)

The intricate and stylish bib necklace adds drama to her otherwise simple dress and the pairing with gold accessories adds color..Again, couldn't no close-up shot:-(

Who: Arjun and Mehr

So happy that Arjun didn't wear keds this time. Both of them look perfect. If they ever separate ( god forbid!!), I have the first dibs on the man:-)

55th Filmfare Awards - The battle of the minis

Who: Sonia Mehra

Rather than just going for a simple solid cocktail dress or making a safe choice, Sonia picks something interesting with strappy shoes. Very rarely, do I get to see western outfits that have the traditional embroidery. And the light color palette makes her ensemble a superb choice for Mumbai nights.Her hair is also done up to go with the sophisticated look of the dress. Two thumbs up!!

A bubble hemline, poof on the bottom, can either look cute and hip or totally unfashionable, depending on how you wear it. I think its quite difficult for anyone to wear a bubble dress and look appropriate..So is she fab or drab? I will go with drab since I didn't like anything about this look - the black camisole, the shirred top, the tacky pink buckle on the shoe. Two thumbs down!!

New fashionista in town

I really love it when celebs not just wear designer stuff but give the clothes a personality by combining the pieces in their own stylish, quirky manner. I have been totally digging the outfits Sonia has been wearing in the last few months - sometimes its bad but I like the way she is playing with her clothes. Fashion is meant to be fun..

The stripes t-shirt and white ruffle skirt looks nice but the vest really blows the look away. The waistcoat/vest came into fashion spotlight after Kate Moss was snapped in one while attending Glastonbury 2005. Its a pretty versatile piece to have in one's closet- u can wear it open or buttoned, with jeans, short, skirts or dresses and it comes in different styles and fabrics (lace, denim, etc)

I am soo looking forward to her next appearance..

Sonia Mehra looked cute in a front ruffle dress (shoes - yay!!, clutch - nay!!). Found two similar dresses - the purple is by Cynthia Vincent can be purchased from here and the white one is from ASOS.

Kareena looked casual chic in a plaid shirt, skinny jeans and boots. While Kareena paired the shirt with skinny jeans, you can easily wear it with leggings. The pink shirt is from Express and the right-most is from Shopbob.
