SINGAPORE - Sentosa Island

If you give our family a choice between various landscapes, we will choose the BEACH, hands down.

When the opportunity arose to take a trip to Sentosa Island, we were all game!

I went as the solo adult with the majority of the kids in our group, and it was pretty funny that they all looked like they could be my children, so we confused all of the park employees everywhere we went!

We visited the butterfly exhibition and marveled at the amazing beauty and vast variety of species.

After getting our fill with beautiful winged creatures, we LUGED.

Ok ... when the kids first saw the luge track, I was less than enthused.  I begrudgingly put a smile on my face and said "sure!!" and purchased tickets.

WHAT FUN!!!!  I had Mia in my lap, as she was too short to steer by herself but Tony plowed down the track like a superstar.

They offered the Sky Flight as a means to get back UP the hill after a luge trip.  I was a bit worried that the littles would be scared to ride it, but again, they were troopers!

After luging a couple of times, we headed to the beach.  Of course when you have five kids in tow, someone is bound to be hungry and thirsty.  We settled in at Sand Cove and ordered mocktails for all.

We ordered some amazing chicken wings and soft-shell crab (you can eat the shell and everything!)

Look at how big Terran's shoes are in her hands!!

Bring on the surf.

It was fun to watch the two big kids hang out and spend time together.

We finished out the day with a dolphin show.  Sentosa Island was a favorite for all of us!
