The Delhi Couture week 2010 started today with Sabyasachi Mukherjee's textile-driven collection. From the few pictures that are available, it looks like the collection had all the Sabyasachi trademarks - earthy colors, lots of layering, minimal makeup, one common accessory worn by every model - this time it was an Indian style hat with zardozi work. Quoting the designer himself - "The line is very romantic and gives the feel of a museum, something that is period, Victorian or simply antique". Here are some pics.

Sabyasachi with his muses - Rani Mukherjee and Vidya Balan

Vidya looks pretty in a red saree and Rani is wearing a black jumpsuit with some major bling bling. I assume both are wearing Sabyasachi since it would be a little awkward if someone asked Vidya who she was wearing and she sweetly said "Manish Malhotra" :-)
